This is Cash and his Air Max 97 SH Kaleidoscope. Clouds, air, water, fluidity and opportunity inspired Cash’s shoe and our soundtrack as well. Slightly off tempo drum patterning to give intangible undertones. We weaved water samples in and rotated the major themes back and forth with the story. One side highlighting creativity and imagination. One side bringing energy and movement with the percussive elements dancing with the body movements on screen. We were also lucky to find and flip the intro and outro vocal sample which was used by a very prominent West Coast emcee, can you name the sample?
Never Home Music worked with Team Epiphany and Nike Running to help take the Nike+ Run Club to a new level. The in person experience was amazing and at times life changing. The challenge? How to bring that experience beyond the cities where Nike Run Clubs existed and give everyone a chance to be involved, no matter the locale. The answer: Construct a digital environment with music, coaching, tips, and more for anyone to access. Bring the run club to their ears. For our part we designed custom playlists to match each running style you’d need. The program was successful and quickly grew to over a million followers on Spotify and spread to other platforms. Other custom run experiences were implemented. Live coaching with customized matching music, workouts with Olympic legends, challenges and events, all designed to service the runner anywhere and anytime.
For Shamima we rocked with the pallet of London Grime. Constructing the track from both old and new sounds to mirror the architecture styles she references as inspirations for her Air Max.

In 2011, artist and lifelong sneaker lover, Matt Stevens created the MAX100, a series of 100 illustrations to celebrate his favorite sneaker, the Air Max 1. 2013, Nike Sportswear x Matt Stevens present #AIRMAX, a series celebrating the heritage and evolution of one of Nike's most iconic sneakers. Never Home Music was honored to provide the complete original score.
Never Home Music worked with Nike Running and Olympic Legend Michael Johnson on a customized, dynamic Speed Workout. NHM produced 3 original tracks for the project and mixed the entire workout to match Michael Johnson's running instructions throughout.
We embody Yuta’s cool, enigmatic energy and style for his musical accompaniment. His soundtrack evolves with his journey. From his main theme he enters the subway where a “New York” hip hop sampled sound takes over to pay homage to the subway culture. From there the music turns to a frenetic energy as he talks about the dizzying, sometimes overwhelming energy of Tokyo. As he returns to his shoe design the main theme returns as well taking it full circle.
Never Home Music produced over 60 minutes of original music across 3 custom workouts in Nike Running's newest offering "Audio Guided Runs". The music is designed to mirror the coach to provide a distinct, purposeful score for the workout.
This is Kevin Louie and his Air Max 95 Bodega BEC. Kevin’s story was classic NYC, so in honor of that we used classic New York production. Sampling knocking drums, instrument sample flips, scratches, an ominous rolling bassline and a nod to the boom bap. Intro and outrunning with late night jazz horns and city sounds and ambience bookended our NYC experience
